I am jealous of all you who are out of school. I still have one more week. We go through June 7th. I have to turn grades in on the 5th and am beginning today to sort and chuck all kinds of stuff in my room. I am looking foward to camp. The area was beautiful and we will have a great time! We even saw a huge Moose! Have a great weekend and I will see most of you on the 11th!

Hello everyone! Hope all of you are doing OK, and that Joan and Carolyn are doing better. This is the last day of school. It gets to us fast - at least for me - Congratulation again to Mike and to all those who will be graduating this year. It is a big step in someone's life, and a big page who will be turned!! Life usualy takes a different pace after high school. Anyway. I finished the questionnaire for the Family Auction yesterday, I hope you are coming up with some fun and cute little stuff to auction off. Wether it is material things or services, let's try to be creative and to keep our imagination going. What I would like to do, is collect your auction items earlier during the afternoon, and set them all up, so you can all see what is available. Also, depending on how many items we have, it will depend on how many you may auction on. I would like 1 item per person minimun if possible ( to auction on). So whatever is auctioned, we need a variety . we want something that can be of interest to several of us. You can bring more than one thing to auction off if you want to, the more we have, the more we can have fun with. Take care and get ready!

I forgot! We are supposed to auction something. Any ideas of what I could get?

Yeh , ,Now we can go to Disney Land the easy way. And in off season it will not be so busy . Is every one getting somthing to aution off at camp ????? Is every one getting exited I am , especially after seeing it , its beautiful and peaceful . The exit no. to leave the highway is 152 , the dirt road wind around a bit but if you just keep looking for signs that say West Murry stake you will be all right .

At work today in sl getting update for new work program that go into effect on june 13. Guess what Jet blue will be flying a morning flt from SLc to Long Beah Ca starting in Oct. So If you want to go to southern Ca go Jet blue. They are also adding long beach to oakland and long beach to las vegas.

Grandma...I will not be at the cemetary. The wee little zoo animals are calling to me come visit. I will be at the zoo with my friends. I will see you on the 11th! Love you all!

I've got Mem day off work so I'll be at cemetary. I have Iris and mabey peoines. Perhaps a few roses. see you monday. I'm an heading to dr for a shot. Soon as I can get my blood counts high enough I will have surgery. So I am taking iron faithfully. still tired all the time but looking forward to feeling better. Love to all Joan

With this crazy--busy month of May, I wondered if we are going to get together for our traditional Memorial Day cemetary visit and picnic on Monday May 26th. Yes??? No??? If yes, will it be the same--meet at the Murray Cemetary and bring our own picnic? Let me know what is going to happen. I always enjoy this day and getting together to plan our camping trip.

Here are the latest news. We were happy to have a get together last night for Curtis 's B.day. We were sad that you weren't all able to come. But we understant how it goes, sometimes you just cannot get it all done or go everywhere. Anyway, somehow I got put in charge of an activity for the camping trip next month. A Family Service Auction. the way it will go, is that each of us will have a questionnaire to answer, and depending of your answers, you will be accumulating a certain number of points. You will use those points to buy what you want during the auction. Each one of us will participate, and each one of us will auction something. Wether it is a service ( 1hr yard work, car washing, ironing,....) or something you are willing to donate ( scrapbooking pages, T-Shirt, box of cookies,...) Whatever, your imagination is realy the limit. Just think of something someone could enjoy, and we'll have a great time. Love, Mary

Thanks to all for bringing food and fun to Mom's birthday party. I had a great time. We could have visited all night, but the mosquitoes started to carry us away. I will try to make it to Curtis's party tonight, but Bruce has gone to St George for the day and I do not know when he will get home. Brad may be working. Happy 16 Curtis!!!
I can't believe that it is the middle of May already! I teach through the first week of June with June 7th being my last day. I am looking foward to getting out of school and really looking foward to family camping.
We had a great chat with Jacob on Mothers Day. He sounded so happy and is doing great! He is still talking about extending his mission, but we will see what happens as the day gets closer. He also asked if one of his companions could stay with us a while as he attends the University of Utah--probably in Feb 2003. It would be fun--if we get the basement bathroom put back together.

hello family, Mike gave a great talk yesterday and so did mom. Everyone at my house is sick with sore throats and headaches.I had a crappy mothers day did not feel well and lots of tears. I am teach rs next week and still in nursey and to top it off I had to come into work today because of comp problems this morning. I hope I'm not late to bday party tonight. LOVE JOAN

Happy Mother's Day to all! Mom's talk in Sacrament meeting was great! I think it was good to hear about the women of the scriptures and the church who too often are in the background. Everyone knows that few of the great things men have sometimes done could have happened without those women. Even the fact that the men wrote those historys that are about mostly men, was made possible because of the women!
In case you need a recommendation from the family librarian for the coming summer, I refer you to 2 books by Orson Scott Card. He is writing a 3 book series about women of the Old Testament. The 2 that are already out are "Sarah" (Abrahams' wife) and "Rebekah" (Isaac's wife). Very interesting and well-written.

I just wanted to be the first to say, "Happy Mother's Day to all of the mom's!" I love you all!

Hello, We had a funeral for Davids cousin on friday, He was killed in a freak mountian bike accident in Logan. He had a helmet on byt his bike hit a rock and he pitched head first into the wall of the ravine and broke his neck. He was engaged to be married and had bought her a ring but no one can find where he put it. His younger brother was married on saturday but they did not have a reception. I sure had a long weekend too. Just way to emotional. We did stop in on friday to check on Grandma Hall. She was in good spirits and looked great. The party sunday was great. I was glad to see everyone there. So sorry I wasn't my jolly ol self. With my allergies so bad and having my dog Clover pass away on Friday, it was not the funnest weekend for me. I am looking foward to a new week, and I hope no more sorrows.
Jacob is doing very well and now in a border city near Texas. He can use the e-mail, but does not know where he will find a phone for his mothers day call. I will let you know when we hear from him and when he does plan to call---all our mothers day visits will depend on when he calls!
It's good to hear that Grandma Hall is doing well. Mom, is the story you were looking for called "Funny, funny Mother?" I will look in my files to see if I have it.
I was asked to be R.S. Homemaking leader, I am not too excited, I guess we will see what happens.
